A typical Prince Charming who wields a flattering sword that cuts through the night....
Except, he doesn't own a horse. And secondly, he's no prince but a King according to the story.

The idea to draw male Saber from Fate/Prototype sparked me when I ordered his figurine.
Besides being handsome, he has such irresistible cuteness ❤︎
His figurine will be arriving tomorrow I bet. Estimated as big as a nendoroid.
I even Googled images before his arrival to quench my flaming anticipation!!

Not to say, the greatest challenge in this artwork is the armors coloring due to its high reflectivity. 

This is my first attempt to draw steel material. Learnt something new I bet?

Reignited

Recently, one of my childhood favorite anime series, Cardcaptor Sakura is back on trend again. New CCS merchandises are everywhere in the market now ready to rob my wallet!
Thus the hype sparked my interest in drawing a CCS fanart.
This is after years Sakura & Syaoran grown up, whenever they see their weapon or charm, it reminds them of the days they battled and struggled through, which has leaded them to grow very fond of each another.

Is it just me? I realized my coloring style is getting more and more complicated after each trial.
I always wish I could color in a simpler style. Like those two toned anime-ish style, or even just flat colors.
I adore those simple and nice paintings that can also convey a great message with great ambience.
Overall... My art-style seems so vague.
Which is bad. : /

I have a confession to make here.
I'm a sucker for wavy haired guys and Scottish Fold cat. Sue me! lol
But... the cat in my artwork can't really be distinguished as a Scottish Fold cat. (orz...)
Just a practice piece of another coloring style.

The bubble's translation: "Sleep on the floor again! Not afraid of waist and back aches?"
A cute comedy story struck my mind when I was drawing this.
About a "talking" Scottish Fold cat and a guy who can only hear its speech.

Another CF Countdown Related

Blimey!! Looking back at my previous artwork really makes me feel time flies...

Well, it's not that I only know it now. T T

Okay! Done with the ranting and VOILA!

It's finally completed!!!

Means I can sleep peacefully now! hahaha

Since we hadda submit 1 week before our slot, my deadline fell on Friday. Which was quite struggling for me cos' half of my soul is still wondering in London since 9th Oct. (sadface)

I really missed having the sense of accomplishment. 

Some Makoto Shinkai's animation screencaps were used as lighting reference though is kinda shame that the outcome is not as astounding as his. (of course)

The theme for this year's Comic Fiesta 100 Days Countdown event is "space adventure"
My decision was torn between drawing own theme and "space adventure" theme.
But eventually, I still preferred to draw own theme cos' I have pictured it so at least I have slight confidence to execute it. 

If you're a great observer, you would notice the date beside the calender is actually my birthday.

Yeap, I've chosen slot Day 63 because of that special reason. ^^
